Troubleshooting Beacon OTA Failure

Follow this step-by-step guide to quickly resolve Beacon OTA installation issues and ensure seamless device performance.

    1. Connect your Beacon and X1 device but ignore the update.

  • 2. Slide down from the top of the screen and select "Clear Cache" and "Confirm".

  • 3. IMPORTANT: Restart your Beacon by pressing the power button to power off and then pressing it again to turn on.

    4. When prompted to update, confirm

The full update including an automatic restart will take about 2 to 2.5 minutes.
