1.Are there specific modes for snow sports and biking?
Yes! In addition to being able to follow you from the back, side, and front, we have developed specific follow modes for different kinds of activities to provide the optimal shots for different characteristics of movement and cinematic effects. Some modes will follow you in a more dynamic fashion (visible in many of our engineering demos), while others will lessen sensitivity in favor of smoother video.
2.What are the registration and no-fly zone requirements?
In many countries, the HOVERAir PRO|PROMAX are below any registration weight limits, but this will depend on your specific circumstances. Please refer to your local laws and regulations for specific requirements regarding drone registration and no-fly zones. It is essential to comply with all applicable legal requirements and restrictions to ensure safe and lawful operation of your HOVERAir X1 PRO|PROMAX device.
3.What are the charging options and charging time?
The HOVERAir X1 PRO | PROMAX can be charged using the official 65W charger or charging hub for fast charging. With the charging hub, a single battery can be fully charged in about 45 minutes, and two batteries about 60 minutes. Additionally, you can charge the battery directly by installing it on the device and connecting the device’s USB 2.0 port to a charger. Other charging options include power banks and car chargers.
4.What are the low battery warnings and landing procedures?
X1 PRO series has low-battery warning to ensure safe operation. Before takeoff, the device will not launch if the battery level is too low and will provide a warning. During flight, if the battery level drops below 5% in automated flight modes, the device will either land automatically at its current location or return to the takeoff point. In Manual Control mode, the device will initiate a return when the battery level is low and will land immediately if the battery level becomes critically low
5.Can I use other chargers to charge my HOVERAir X1 PRO or PROMAX?
Yes. You can use any chargers with USB PD (a fast-charging technology) to charge the HOVERAir X1 PRO or PROMAX.
6.What is the warranty period for the HOVERAir X1 PRO series?
We provide a 12-month warranty on the flying camera device and most accessories. The battery is covered for 12 months or 100 cycles, whichever comes first, and the handlebar mount has a 6-month warranty. Please note that the warranty does not cover damage from user error, unauthorized repairs, or disassembly. Our official services include technical support, repairs, replacements, and other assistance you may need. *EU customers receive a 2-year warranty as mandated by consumer laws.
7.What is the battery life and average flight time?
The battery life is 100 cycles. With a capacity of 1920 mAh, it supports an average flight time of about 16 minutes.
8.Is HOVERAir X1 PRO or PROMAX waterproof?
The HOVERAir X1 PRO and PROMAX are not waterproof. However, with OmniTerrain on, they are designed to fly over water surfaces and capture your exciting moments near or over water.
9.Are photo functions like Manual ISO/shutter adjustable? What about saturation, sharpness, etc.
ISO and shutter are adjustable only in manual mode.We provided a limited number of preset filters, and users of the PROMAX can shoot in DNG and 10-bit HLG and adjust settings like saturation and sharpness in post editing.
10.Where can I ski with HOVERAir X1, HOVERAir X1 PRO, and HOVERAir X1 PROMAX?
HOVERAir self-flying cameras are perfect for capturing your ski adventures in open spaces, along natural trails, or in scenic, unspoiled terrains. Since each ski resort has its own guidelines for drones and aerial devices, we recommend checking with your destination before taking off to ensure that your HOVERAir experience meets any local rules.
