Q: Why should I buy HOVERCare?
A: HOVERCare gives you peace of mind with full protection for your HOVERAir X1, X1 PRO, or X1 PROMAX. Choose a 1-year or 2-year plan (2-year available for X1 PRO/PROMAX), with coverage starting from the day you activate it.You'll enjoy benefits like discounted damage replacements, priority support from a dedicated service expert, and coverage that stays valid throughout your selected plan period.
Q: Can I cancel HOVERCare?
Yes, under certain conditions: If you return your HOVERAir device in accordance with our return policy, you can apply to cancel HOVERCare as well. If your device is not returned, you may still cancel HOVERCare within 15 days of activation, as long as no service has been used.
Q: When does HOVERCare become active?
A: After purchase, you’ll receive an activation code. You can activate HOVERCare through the HOVER X1 App while setting up your device, or directly on this page. Please note: You’ll need to bind your device’s serial number (SN) to complete the activation.
Q: Are these new HOVERCare services available globally?
A: Currently, the updated HOVERCare plans are available in the U.S. and EU. We’re working to expand to more regions soon — please stay tuned to our official updates or contact customer support for the latest information.
Q: What is not covered by HOVERCare?
HOVERCare does not cover:
Damage caused by unauthorized repairs, modifications, or third-party accessories.
Losses due to natural disasters, war, nuclear incidents, or illegal activities.
Personal injury, property damage, or indirect losses.
Theft or lost components of the device.
Q: I previously purchased the HOVERCare service. What are the differences between the new version of Care and mine?
A: First of all, all your benefits will be upgraded to the new version of the HOVERCare plan (1-year plan) at no additional cost! The main upgrades to HOVERCare include:
Increased number of damage replacements: You can now enjoy more replacement opportunities.
Discounted replacement prices: The cost of replacements has been reduced.
New benefits added: Free two-way shipping and exclusive customer support have been introduced.
Additionally, for the X1 PRO & PROMAX models, we have also launched a two-year version of the HOVERCare plan in this update.
Q: I'm an existing HOVERCare user. Can I upgrade to the new plan?
Yes! If you’ve already activated HOVERCare, your current plan will be automatically upgraded to the new 1-Year HOVERCare WorryFree plan at no extra cost.Want to upgrade to the 2-Year plan? As part of our appreciation program, you can upgrade by simply paying the price difference. You can view your upgraded benefits in the HOVERAir app starting April 9, 2025.

A: Yes. If you've received and activated your HOVERCare, your plan will be automatically upgraded to the new HOVERCare WorryFree version — no action needed.

A: Yes! Please fill out the upgrade request form here, and a dedicated service expert will assist you with the payment. Once upgraded, you’ll be eligible for the free battery — just note that a shipping fee will apply.
Q: How can I get the free battery gift with HOVERCare?
A: Until April 30: Get a free PROMAX battery when you purchase a 2-Year HOVERCare plan, either alone or with an X1 PRO/PROMAX. Starting May 1: Only bundles of X1 PRO or PROMAX + 2-Year HOVERCare will qualify for the gift. Already have a 1-Year HOVERCare plan? You can upgrade to the 2-Year plan during this period and still receive the free battery ( just note that a shipping fee will apply).
Q:What is included in the Replacement Service?
Replacement Services cover main components of the HOVERAir device that are damaged during normal use or due to accidents. Components include the aircraft, gimbal module, propellers, prop guards, and battery. Additional batteries are not covered.
Q: How many times can I use Low-Cost Replacements for Damage and Flyaway under HOVERCare?
A: For the 1-Year HOVERCare plan: You are eligible for up to 2 Low-Cost Replacements in total. These can be used for Damage (up to 2 times), Flyaway (up to 2 times), or a combination of both, as long as the total does not exceed 2 replacements.
For the 2-Year HOVERCare plan: You are eligible for up to 3 Low-Cost Replacements in total. These can also be used for Damage, Flyaway, or a mix of both, with a maximum of 3 replacements in total.
Q: Is the replacement I get from HOVERCare brand-new?
A: Yes — all replacement devices are either brand-new or officially certified like-new units that meet the same performance and reliability standards as a new product.
Q: Is the replacement under HOVERCare free of charge?
A: No, but HOVERCare users can get a replacement at a discounted price. There are two replacement types: Damage Replacement – return your damaged device and get a replacement at a reduced cost. Flyaway Replacement – if your device is lost, you can still get a discounted replacement without sending in the original unit. For detailed pricing, please refer to link .
Q: How can I find the new replacement fees? Are there any discounts?
A: Yes — as part of the latest upgrade, replacement fees are now discounted for HOVERCare users. You can check the updated pricing in the replacement fee table here.
Q: Can I renew HOVERCare after the service times are used up?
A: No. HOVERCare can only be purchased and activated once per device, and cannot be renewed once the service benefits are used up. We recommend choosing the 2-year plan if you’d like extended coverage.
Q: How do I apply for the Flyaway Replacement service?
To apply for the Flyaway Replacement service, you must: Ensure your device is bound to your HOVERCare account in the HOVER X1 app. Contact support@hoverair.com and submit a Flyaway Report. After the report, your device will be restricted, and upon payment, ownership will transfer to Zero Zero.
